Don’t Chuck Those Chuck Taylors High Tops!

Chuck Taylors High Tops or Chucks have been part of the Converse shoe designs since they were first produced in 1917.  Initially, they were intended to be athletic shoes meant to capture the basketball shoe market.  Nowadays, they are not that popular among athletes but they are truly popular among adults, teens and kids.  The Chuck Taylors High Tops adopted its name from basketball player Chuck Taylor who became an avid endorser of the product.

Chuck Taylors High Tops are the most popular and the most common design.  They can be in  black or in white.  But if you would like funky colors and designs, there are many options. You could also have the option to design your own one.  They are unisex and fits different outfits.  They are very comfortable, lightweight and durable.  However, they are not ideal for athletic activities like running since they do not offer too much arch support. It takes layering into another level!  It looks like as if the AS Hi is stitched to the AS Low.  They are usually in contrasting colors giving it a unique look and feel.  Just like in Double Uppers, it could be worn with one or two laces, the tongue up and down, sides up or down.  Most of those who bought this kind of shoes recognized that it is not for any sports but mainly for style, since still there are no major arch support for your feet. Others would find it difficult to wear since it could get confusing., but still it is a unique style but a great find.
